About Me~
Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Ayaba Sibongile is a creative fiction novelist, genealogy researcher, and poet. The name Ayaba is Yoruba (Nigerian) translating to “Queen” and Sibongile is Zulu/Ndebele (South African) meaning “We Are Thankful.” She is also a mother, grandmother, gardener, cook, meditator, yogi, and reader. Affectionately, she is respected as Queen Mother, given her leading role in the Black Liberation Movement.
